Collinite No. 476s Super DoubleCoat Wax

  Not got a car
Anybody used it? I just bought some as i've heard a few peopel have bought some and are very pleased with it.

Does it really last for up to 12 months?

Cant wait to see what it brings my silver 172 up like.

Don't know about 12 months but I put it on my brothers Clio a good few months back now and only washed it every few weeks and it's still beading like day one. Durability is very good and it's renowned for it.

Yeh works a charm... very glossy finish too, although mutes the flakes a little. Ideal on a silver though. A bit sceptical about 12 months protection but two layers will keep you well protected.

Also good on the wheels over a good sealant.

Very good durability - lasts up to a year. However it doesnt give a great shine so you'll need to top it off with a coat of Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax to give it the extra "Bling" factor.

whats the difference in the swisswax range? as the price's seem to bump up pretty quickly e.g 40 - 70 -120 and i just cant justufy spending 70 on wax maybe 40 at a push

Each wax tends to look a bit better, they are also meant to be a little more durable as the higher the price the higher the Carnuba content.

For what it is worth Onyx is probably the best wax for the money out there, looks nearly as good as there own BOS for fraction of the cost. Looks better than any of the waxes around the 10 - 50 quid bracket and comes very closer to the high end ones in apperance.

right so go for the 40 quid one cheers, the pc polisher what transformer do i require? will 100w do?

screw fix IMO for the transformer, got the 110v, long extension lead, and new plug for about 69 quid

By the way guys... I have just had a presentation and seen not only the 135 Coupe, new 6 Series and X6 in the flesh, but also the mighty new M3.

Absolute sex. If any of you have a spare £50k knocking about GET ONE. Makes the RS4 look very average indeed.

Right back to the detailing: paint, EGP, butter wet wax your mum etc...

  A slow one :-(
Ja, but you can get them cheaper i think. I got mine from Rapid.

Check out detailingworld. There are a s**t loads of threads on importing and using PCs.
