Colour Coding My Clio

Hi guys,

Ive just bought myself a new Renault Clio Billabong and Im loving it to bits. I had a Mk 1. Clio until someone went head on into the car while it was parked. Im not a serious modder but I am interested in colour coding the bump strips and rear & front bumper to make it look a little bit more like a 2.0 litre sport. After reading up on the web site and seeing the cost be as low as £70 I definatly want to do it however Im not confident with doing it myself for fear of screwing it up, if push came to shove Id have a go... Could anyone give me any tips on what I need to do exactly, the materials I need and how much and where they could be obtained from?

Alternativly, if there is anyone from the Essex area that would be able to help me out thatd be great, help would not go unrewarded!!! ;)

Cheers,

Adam

Go with the pros..one problem is that the plastic will have to be primered well as well as the painting. Save up a couple of hundred so its done properly, you wouldnt want it fading or peeling after a year. Its just false economy.

So a professional body shop would do all that. If I just went in said... "paint my bits PROPERLY" theyd know what theyre doing? Ill have to wait till the student loan comes through in April then! :) Cheers for the info... although any other solutions would be welcomed.

Yeah now that you mention it... "please mr nice body shop man... pretty please can you paint the gastly plastic bits to make them all nice and shiney... please..."

But seriously... as if I could actually be serious... are there no other suggestions aside from having it all primed first, then painted?
