Colour coding

Guys,

I want to get my clio fully colour coded, which means spraying the plastic handles and bumper trims. I was going to just spray them with the same paint as the car, but someone said Id have to get some special type of paint that goes on plastic.

Has anyone had any experience doing this? Will normal car paint be ok, or not?

i done my boot strip myself using halfords colour match spray but was a slight different colour to the car but still looked alright!

i got the bump strips and mirrors done by a garage and they charged me £80 for everything and the paint was a perfect match!

Get it done at a bodyshop, itll match...

Mine was done using some paint, expensive stuff... but it is a good match - even tho some paint on my car is from 1997.. my freshly painted stuff is the same colour.

The halford "colour match paint" aint that hot - does this boot strip look tungsten grey to you?
