Got a call from Renault UK asking how my service went with my car. They asked me to score on a scale of 1 to 5 how I rated the service, I said I wouldnt rate it cos the service didnt matter what mattered was the fact that they charged me for insurance for a curtosey car even though it was warrany work. I said "I shouldnt have to pay when its the poor build quality of the car - the reason its in the garage" They asked me to phone the dealer and tell them - to which I replied "its the dealer that charged me and wouldnt budge". 1 week later I get call from Renault UK - they have given me £50 of renault vouchers towards next service etc, twice what I paid for insurance. However, on top Renault Edinburgh Sighthill has also been on the phone to appologise for the problems with my new car and given me a number to call if any more problems come up with the car and that they would make sure it was fixed quickly. (bloody hell renault uk just phoned again in the middle of writing this to ensure that the problems had been resolved (4th or 5th call in a week)).
So in a nutshell - what a great service - It just goes to show that infact they do realise that there are people out here who are getting fked off with the service and they are making a real effort to set the record straight.
