Hello everyone as in the title, im a noob... according to the jargon busting thread that means 'newbie' anyways... my names martin and im from haydon bridge, not to far from newcastle. I passed my test two weeks ago and have a silver clio authentique, bought it for £550 with 83k on the clock (part ex to clear... BARGAIN!) so far it has wind deflectors, cheapy k&n style filter (for the fact i made five pounds of getting it ) 182 spoiler, shortened arial, HU sub etc and sitting rather low on some raceland coilovers and steels...(low budget ) shall post pics up soon

I like the steels, :O I said it. if you clean them up maybe with some satin black paint and just paint the edge white or infact any other colour it would look the Dogs b****cks. Steelies are underated.

The flaps dont like going up and down the raise outside my house.. neither does the splitter lol, as for wheels the steels are staying for now... was thinking of doing exactly what Noah said also ordered a sticker to compensate them, shall post a pic up when it arrives. thanks for the positive comments (Y)

Probably looks better than mine (more progress anyway) for a lot less money, good going, any updates?

thanks for that! recent updates are:

- 1 mud flap down! :'(
- rear adjuster cups out
- clear side repeaters
- 2 new tires
- black vinyl wrapped spoiler

and thats about all i can think of tbh.

plans are:

-sand/polish headlights as theyve fogged up (common problem)
- clean engine bay (detailer wanna bee)
- paint the steels gloss black
- dee tar the whole thing and give her a good polish
- uprate front speakers and put some in the back

and thats about it for now, hopefully get those things done this month. just have to wait and see i guess, i will put some pics up soon
