Compression

Hi,

The time for a supercharger has come! My car is by tuner and I hope it will be done till next week. But I have one question!

Can some one tell me if I must set down the compression ratio on my car or not! Now is the compression ration 11,0 : 1 ! And the working pressure of a supercharger is 0,5 bar ( 7,5 psi)! Must I do that nad if I must do that how much must the new compression ratio be?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP !!

11:1 ratio its going apesh*t already...

I saw somewhere a uprated gasket being sell... check it out.

YES !!!!

you WILL need lower comression ratio pistons

you will also need to modify the oil breather system, the fuwling on boost,

the MAP sensor on the inlet manifold etc etc.

I can let you have a set of genuine F4R 9.5:1 turbo pistons (£200) which are ok if you run low boost (about 3-6 psi)

above that, you would need to go to about 8:1.

Joe.
