Does anyone know why my external usb won't show in My Computer?

I have a Intenso 320GB that I have used before on my PC with no problem but now it just won't appear.

I have noticed that the device appears in the 'Devices and Printers' though?:

But nothing in My Computer:

I need to open and save files to the external device but I can't do that when it shows in the Devices and Printers screen

Change the drive letter in disk management. Maybe theyve both got the same drive letter so isnt showing.

No, go to Start > Search/Run:

diskmgmt.msc

Does the hard drive appear in there? If it doesn't, I suggest you go to Device Manager type in devmgmt.msc and 'Uninstall' the Device, reboot.. then see if it appears in Disk Management.
