is the clio 1.2 16v onboard computer 100% accurate?

im using alot of petrol, and its saying im getting 35.7 mpg on average?

i notice it changing alot, rangin from 34 up to 36 mpg depending it gose up on the motor way tho, dose this mean my Fuel guage aswell as my range thing ( the 100Miles .. etc) is not 100% aswell? as its all digital in my car
