connecting apple mac to internet !

basically thinking of ordering a apple mac this week because iv always fancied one for their styling etc . was wondering how do they connect up to the internet as in my house i have a wireless network ...but they arent wireless are they ? how do i go about connecting up ?

Mac's have wifi so you'll not have any problems.

I've never had any issue conencting to the internet with my iMac and it found the connection immediately.

all the books come with wireless built in but the desktops will need airport specced to the machine.

ok cool . never had one before . i just fancy a big change from windows etc . nothing wrong with my laptop or anything . its fairly new just woke up this morning and thought im gonna get myself one . thanks for the advice .

All new Mac's have an Airport (That's just what Apple call their wireless stuff) card installed.. so it'll connect no problems. The only exception is the Mac Pro, but you can spec it no problems.

I opened mine on my bday and thought i'd have to leave it to install the OS for a few hours. How i was wrong!

Turned it on, in 10 mins was on the net!

not really, it's a LOT more straight forward and easier to navigate your way about.

i miss working in a mac environment even though the PC i work on can handle my 3d software ok, i'd do anything to get back on a G5.

my windows machine here doesn't stop crashing all day long!

Very easy to get used to a Mac and so much better to use than any of the Windows machines I used to own.
