Console Mods Question

Out of curiosity how long does it normally take for someone to make a mod chip for consoles after they've been relised?

Probably play copied games. My Xbox is chipped and has over 50 games installed on it. Quality. Its got proper software on it too, so you switch it on and get the choice of what you want to play, or use applications and other neat stuff. Dont think I'd bother with modding a 360 though. Maybe just an induction kit ;)
Hehe, we'll see :)

u can mod the dvd drive firmware on a 360 to allow you to play copied games, but MS are catching on and banning these machines from live

  As father and son....
as far as i know a lot of the OMG IM BANEENND FROM LIEV was a lot of scare mongering, flashing the machine back to a standard issue firmware allowed the machine back on the Live format. The recent update in the Autumn, and the one just gone, messed up a lot of previously Live! secure mods.

http://www.team-xecuter.com are close, hell it may already be done, to releasing their all in one flash system. Not all drives can be flashed with the 360 however and its still at an early stage. I suggest if you're serious about burning games for the 360 to invest in a Pioneer 111-D dvd-drive as its the only sure fire one out there so far it seems

Not saying it wont happen though.
