i can do a guide tomoro as i broke 1 of them today.
but heres what youle need;
2 clio ph1 side light bulb holders with plugs
2 core wire
inline crimp connectors or soldering iron,
insulation tape
12mm drill bit, and a slow easily controlable low torque drill
sealant.

this is perfectly road legal. and you can have them what ever colour you please as they are not a testable item as they are not obligatory

looking forward to the guide mate, you can still only have them white or yellow though, its illegal to show any other colour of light at the front, you might pass an MOT but you dont wanna pass a copper lol!

steve your getting mixed up mate, the MOT does not dictate vehicle law bud, for example you could tint your front windows as dark as you like and still pass an MOT, but the police will charge you if they dont let enough light through!

the law is quite clear, only white or yellow light may be shown from the front, so you can put sidelights in your foglights without issue, but put red/green/blue bulbs in them and youl soon be pulled over and fined, verify here if you must -
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1989/1796/contents/made
go to schedule 2 part 1 article 7, which says - 7.
Colour:
White or, if incorporated in a headlamp which is capable of emitting only a yellow light, yellow

sorry mate i wasnt looking to argue, but when its legal its worth correcting.

car looks ace btw

Edit; iv also been pulled and fined for blue/red sidelights in the past lol

its ok dude, not after an arguement either,
didnt realise that road law was different to an mot.
in my opinion it should be if its illegal it should fail an mot and the other way around.
well from what youve posted my car is still legal as the bulbs are yellow/orange.

If you are going to do it then use these smd led's and you're on to a winner. standard halogen bulbs will look s**te. I might have to do this myself

ok. so here it goes,
remove both your fog lamps. you dont need to take them out of the brackets though.
get your drill with a 12mm drill bit (perfect size for the clio bulb holder)
drill though the top of the lamp directly above the bulb but youl need to do this at a 45 degrees angle or the bulb holder will catch on the crash bar when you refit them to the car and they just wont fit,

you need to take it slow when you get to the metal reflector because when the drill grips on the last bit youle end up going through the bulb and the cap and make a big mess.

i decided to squeeze some sealant between the lamp and bracket, to make sure its water tight, let it set before you put your bulb holder back in though or itl be a strugle to change the bulbs in the future.

i havent done any pictures for the wiring, because thats streight foward, just cut into the side light wiring for the headlamps, or you can do it in the fuse box in the engine bay. look for the light loom and find the 2 blue wires. there both power feeds for the side lights.

now put them in
