Converting to manual windows

Hello all.

My passenger window has stopped working. Both switches do not work and no clicking from the relay.
Gave a live feed to the motor and up it went.

I have read about the issues with the UCH and since I have already replaced the ECU UCH etc I don't want to have it replaced again!

So, can I fit the manual window setup from another model? I have a 172 PH2.

Which model has what I need and can it be easily converted?

Why not just give it a live feed? and a switch to change from Neg to Pos?

Any recommendations on where to take it from? Also, if I do this would it cause damage to the motor? Just thinking that if it has a constant feed with switch it would mean that the motor is continuously trying to move either up or down? Maybe, maybe not.

I am wondering if the faulty component in the UCH is replaceable? I have the original UCH as a spare, Is it possible for me to just swap out a relay or something?

Why would the motor constantly be trying to move up or down? That's the point of the switch?

Either on or off so on to put the window up, How would I get it to go down?

I honestly don't know really. Id guess so.
It makes sense so its something I will look into.
Do you have any idea where is best to get a feed? Maybe a guide?
