Cooling Williams

Drove both of my Williams over the past couple of days. 0002 runs cooler than 0200 on both water and oil temp. What are my list of jobs / replacement parts i will need to get 200 running normally? The clloant on 0200 has been flushed about 800 miles ago and is blue, not brown. ANy cheap things i can do that will help while i wait for more expensive / garage jobs to be done?

They both are probably fine.

Different sets of gauges will read different temps....

I know my water temp gauge reads higher than most other peoples valvers, but still I know its running fine.

Do you think 0200 is running hot?

mine runs well cold! think its got some low temp stuff in, takes ages to warm up

Shouldnt the coolant for the F7R/F7P engines be a redish colour..?

Isnt one of the reasons for head gaskets going because of poorley bleed coolant circuits with naff coolant..

Yup.

But its also red thanks to ren to hide corrosion! lol

Anyway, the type of oil u use can affect oil temps, the type of coolant and how well it was bled, how dirty the rad is as a prper flush through takes about 10-15 mins.

  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT

mine runs hot, water between 1/4 and half and oil around 100 normal, 90 if driving under 4k and 120 if on the M1!

my matrix is blocked though!
