Correct offset?

Could somebody tell me the correct offset for 16" x 7" wheels when choosing a set of aftermarket wheels?

Thanks.:)

Thanks for the advice everyone.

I presume Superturismo's with an e.t. of between 42 and 45 will be o.k. then?

Anything less will definately NOT work with a 182 Cup?

^they'll scrub like a b*****d (if lowered)

why even ask on here for the information if you're just going to ignore it?

I asked since when I ordered the wheels I didn't want them to be supplied in the wrong e.t.

You should have asked the question before ordering... If you're not going to lower your car then you have no problem i suppose but the wheel might sit in the arch a bit??

I did ask the question, the chap at POTN said the e.t is 37 on these wheels for Clio 182's. Anyway it isn't possible the buy O.Z.'s in e.t above 37 so I hear. There wasn't an option apart from choosing another wheel, which I wasn't keen on doing.

Yeah the car will be lowered only slightly though, maybe 20 mm all round eventually. Perhaps I'll get away with that?

mine are ET20 at the front ET30 on the rear on an 8 inch rim, lowered 40mm, they only scrum if cornering hard

It's possible I still may have time to alter the order before it's sent on the carrier.

So 42 e.t at the minimum? Although some say O.Z. don't make an e.t above 37 in 16" x 7" ?:S

i had the 2118's in et38 with 195/50 on my 182 lowered on coilovers and there wasnt any rubbing, iv got the et43 version now with 205/50 and there isnt any rubbing so you should be fine on standard suspension, even lowered 20mm (im guessing on eibach pro's?) u should be fine!

I plan on using H & R suspension in a few months, as I say, not intending to go to low at all, 20-30mm.

However I'm using 205/45's on the 37 e.t wheels, this is where a problem could arise?

Phoned POTN this morning, advised them of my concerns about the e.t of 37. Sales assistant phoned their distributor who told them they would order 16" x 7" Superturismo WRC's in an e.t of 42 direct from O.Z.

It'll take about two weeks for the order to appear. Though I've heard !16" Supertursimo WRC's are no longer. To confirm the sales assistant phoned his distributor. Who in turn confirmed that these wheels have NOT been deleted and will be able to order direct from the factory.

no lower than 42.. why?? if its any higher it will catch on the inside of the axle and rear beam..

anytging between 42 and about 30 is fine on a 7" rim

Not according to several posts made in this thread and others. 37 is ok for 172's running 195 tyres though when using 205's as my 182 does, if lowered (which it will be in time) tyres will catch the arches. This is why I presume no lower than 42 e.t

The wheels have arrived, though because 16" x 7" SuperTurismo WRC has been deleted, the only one's left were in e.t 37. So I took the plunge and bought em'.

I plan on using H & R coilovers at a later date will I get away with a 30 mm drop or will it have to be 25 or less?

^ Thanks, I really hope so.:)

Not planning on anything less than 20-30 mm drop with the H & R's later this year. Though a few on this thread have told me they'll rub. Don't fancy having the arches rolled.

.. again no pics :dapprove:

please let me know if you managed without altering arches etc.. PICS please please;)
