cossover adjustment advice

could someone fill me in on the adjustment of the x-over on my amp, it runs a 10" sub on low pass and the filter is adjustable between 40-400Hz.

I presume the lower the Hz the lower frequency it will only allow through to the sub to play no ? can anyone reccomend where about it should be set to play all types of music.

your correct, try about 70-100, but have a listen and see what you prefer.

Only way youll be able to find the correct setting for your taste is by having a play with it yourself, try with loads of different tracks and see where the best point is for the bass youre hoping to get is.
