Cost of cam belt?

How much does replacing a cam belt usually cost? Any ideas?

Wasn't an Arnold Clark one was it? They quoted me £350 to do the work.

It was Waters Renault in Hatfield. I know i can get it cheaper. but just wanted to find different quotes!

or non genuine parts are half that cost

do it your self will be much cheaper not as hard as people think just get the haynes manual

They would but they normally dont like you suplying parts.

Its the labour that kills on the Cambelt changes.

Not sure how far away you live (I see herts) but “Carpro” (French car specialists) in Dunstable Beds ( happen to be next-door to Camden renualt) are good and price fair.

May want to give them a ring.
