It would like most things would be a right custom jobbie everything else would be in the boot the V6 is huge you'd need to cut the bulkead as well the 2.5 Vauxhall engine is a much better bet even the Lotus V8 is a better idea as there both smaller.

won't fit, mainly because the Pk6 box is SO big, although saying that maybe the Megane RS box would work

Just thinking better idea is to turn the engine 90 degrees I'm sure some Ford RWD box would fit or be made to fit.
