Could I achieve 190/200bhp from this?

  Italian 3.2 V6
Atm my car is running 148bhp at the wheels (only mod is stealth exhaust system) so my car is producing about 177bhp at the fly. I'm thinking of getting inlets matched and getting a custom remap later on in the year. Could I achieve 190/200bhp? Or would I need a 182 manifold n cams to achieve this?

Thanks

cams to hit 190 mate, and ALOT more to hit the magic 200 mark. An actual 190/200 is very hard to beat!

You can must manage a solid 190bhp on the standard inlet manifold with Cams, low loss exhaust, matched inlets and a suitable ECU calibration.

For 200bhp+ you need to replace the standard inlet manifold with something more suitable/capable.

Idd say no, because using your figures you are using a slightly higher transmission loss than normal any how.

OFC there are lots of odd figures from rolling roads, (in my head im using RStunings rollers) id say you would make 180ish.

Not sure on the rollers you have used for your previous result but i think you would see a 10-15bhp gain over your current.

hmmm I don't wana splash loadsa money on my 172 just want to get that bit more from it. Fitting Cams means I would go into the four digits (money wise) wouldn't it!?

If I was to just get 2 of the above 4 options, which 2 would be must to go for!?

  NOTHING
just had a exhaust , inlets , filter and remap done and it does make quite a change. dont know how much in bhp but enough to make it feel a little more punchy

Wouldn't go chasing figures tbh. Get matched inlets, decat and a remap. The car will be transformed.

subtile marketing.. ;)

let's see some results Matt !! superduperinlet is a hole in the market :D

I had mine on Jamsports rolling road on Saturday and made 186bhp with a full exhaust system, matched inlets, ITG Maxogen and a new map. Before the new map and matched inlets it was 177bhp. The next thing for me will either be cams or a supercharger. However I don't know how reliable the supercharger conversions will be and there are no prices currently available. Another option is to see what Icarus is working on, I am very interested to see the results as this will probably be more £££ spent :p
