Creaking noise.

Right,

My 182 has been creaking mainly in reverse wehn turning the steering wheel to the left.

It is is at a garage and a mystery. Its not ball joints, wheel bearings, driveshafts and they cant seen anything obvious under the car?

Anyone had the same problems?

The only other thing I can think of is the steering rack?

yeh i have the same after fitting the lowering kit, sounds like it is coming from the top offside shock mount

mine to,mainly when cold been had my 182 o4 for 3 years i took it to the dealers several times the only thing they said was the power steering fluid is thick when cold so the pump struggles when cold?when i leave the car idling for 5 mins it seems ok

Its the rubber compression mounts creaking between the chassis and strut top. No big deal.
