Creaking Springs

I've just fitted some apex springs to my 172 and have just noticed the fronts creak when you pull away. They also make the noise when you brake hard and the car settles again.

Any idea what causes it.

I also get this with my standard springs, also when steering at parking speed.

did you fit them into the shocks correctly??

(i know yours are correct daze, as i fitted them!!)

Yeah fred they are seated right (that was a b**ch of a job to do)

i wasn't knockin' the workmanship lol!!!

any other reason why they should creak? the rears do it mainly, most noticably over speed bumps

Ok explained this to Renault and they reckon its the top strut mounts
as they change them quite often. Does this sound familiar to anyone.

New mounts are £50 each.

Shh fred you biatch. You fitted daze's springs and they all creak. Only my fronts do!
