Creaking Sterring - With video

Does anybody know what is causing the creaking noise? Easy to fix myself?



Please ignore the dodgy steering wheel cover, it protects me from the melted cheese underneath.

That isn't good news. It's an odd creak, it doesn't do it all the time, only when It fancies and when the car has been driven for a little while and it only comes from the N/S

Sounds like the topmounts to me


but as Fred said its hard to diagnose over a video, get underneath and get someone to turn it and try and see where its coming from

I've got this too. Sprayed some wd40 on the wishbone bushes and the arb bushes and the sound went. Guessing i'll be visiting Fred for some new bushes.

Exactly my problem.

Comes and goes when it wants, but mostly comes on after some stop/start, 5mph traffic.
