Creaky Suspension

FK coilovers on...

any ideas? what can be done?

Doesnt always do it. Occasionally when getting in and out of the car (im not that fat)!

Also sometimes i get a squeeky sound coming from the front driver side. Related? Hope it's not the shock, if it is where do I stand? Do I get a warranty with FK's? bought them from 2modified.

My front (or it might be the back) sometime creaks when I go over speed bumps. Hasn't done it recently though. Standard setup all round. Usually worse when it's cold.

I'm just living with it for now. Car was doing it when it went to Renault for a service and they said they check suspension / shocks as part of the service and they didn't report anything wrong.

had this problem with standard coilovers on mine,changed to GAZ,get the problem on ocassions,must be common fault on clios?

I'm sure I saw another thread about this not so long ago and someone said something about greasing something.... suspension bushes??? I didn't really understand exactly what they meant as I'm not that technically minded, but I got the impression it might be the bit where the suspension "arms" connected to the car, but I could be talking complete rubbish.

Not a problem, mine does it too sometimes over speedbumps ect. on H&R coilovers. Just slammed it after a winter in the sky....I used a fair bit of WD40 to get the platforms lowerd and it didn´t doo so far. Just a matter of lubrication

Where did you WD40 ? I might have a go at mine if it will stop it creaking over speed bumps.

I have the same problem with my 172 cup.... Speed bumps or pulling into the drive, a noice can be heard from the front suspension. Would love to know how to fix it - however nice to know other people are having the same problems

i sometime get noises too - changed ur top mounts? I think they are generally creaky
