Creating Track Car

  Clio V6
I have bought a Clio 1.2 which I fully intend to turn into a purely trackday motor. Any sugestions on where I should start the process???

  Turbos.
Is it a new model 1.2?

Leda do a suspension kit for the 1.4, maybe its worth seeing if they will do one for the 1.2. FK Automotive do coilovers but they are too soft for pure track use.

You can get a 4 pot conversion of the shelf... then find a 182 engine and you're laughing.

  182>FRS>VX220 now 350Z
If its a mk2 Clio then 2.0l F4R conversion, fully strip it out, bucket seats, Leda remote resevoir suspension with high rate ERS coils and a nice amount of -ve camber, Goodridge SS Lines, PF 97 or Pagid RS4-2, wheels and tyres: set of nice light Rota rims with slicks or something. Of course this all depends on your budget tbh.

Just my 2pence :)

  ITB'd GDI Original?
Gut the interior of everything you really dont need or care about and get a good bucket seat, good suspension set up and better brakes. Job done :D

  ITB'd GDI Original?
Like he said ^^^^^^ LOL

Are you still selling your car then Gary or is it staying?
