One for the tech bods.

Part of my job is developing a pipeline of prospective business, beit Operationally in 2008 or strategically in 2011. At the moment we're reply'in on Citrix (Goldmine) A company used CRM, which if i'm bein honest is s**t! It's outdated and over complicated, plus full of crap which i can't delete.

What experience do any of you have with CRM packages, support from advisors, setting up? Fee's, i've got a budget of 5k for this so don't suggest SAP!

CRM is s**t ... presuming its the same one i use at work. Captavia... always breaks down..

Before Captavia, the company used saleslogix aswell, which apparently was far better than Captavia as it didn't cause as many problems, but didn't have the cabilities that Captavia had.

crm isnt a thing as such its customer relationship management software many products do it just some better than others

we use sage saleslogix too, another option is microsoft Dynamics CRM which we also use, depends what you want it for tbh, different ones are better at different things.

I want something simple...

allows us to enter in data, and comments and flags up reminders when calls are due! VERY simple! lol

Just moved to a place that use some wanky Siebel thing, not a fan.

Not looked into dynamics too much, is it any good? They seem to spend a stupid amount trying to get the siebel stuff working when all it seems to be is a crap outlook shared dairy type thing :p
