Cruise Control button

  Clio 182 FF
My cruise control button isn't sticking in place, so when I press it I get 'SET' on the trip displaying and the green clock icon shows, but then it pops back out and the green icon goes. Cruise works if I hold the button down, which is obviously no good!

After a search on here I believe the switch is faulty and one solution was to take the switch off and adjust how its attached. I have no idea how to remove the switch or the unit where the switch is though.

Any help, cheers in advance :)

the switch? The one on the dash, or the wheel?

If its the dash, its gentle persuasion v.small flat screwdriver to nudge it out (IIRC you can do it with a finger nail!) It is easy...don't worry.

Should of said, yer the dash. Do I take the switch off? Or the unit that surrounds the traction control and light dimmer aswell?

cheers
