cruise control update

Dear Fellow mates,

if you own a 182 and want to replace your standard lights with LED lights then you won't be able to use the cruise control. when you press the button you see the cruise control indicator is on but when you press +/- R/0 nothing happens but the speed limiter is working. the problem is that the LED lights don't give enough power to the cruise control system to operate, you have to extra wiring and stuff for the cruise control to work with LED lights. i also had another problem with the cruise control, i replaced back the standard lights but still no cruise control, the reason was because the sensor wires under the steering wheel was cut !!!!!!! how ??? i don't really konw. so please if anyone is thinking about replacing the standard lights with LED lights, don't. unless u don't want to use the cruise control.

Sorry, what bulbs did you replace? The sidelights and the back lights?

Why would they even be on the same circuit as cruise control :S

Still none the wiser :S

Do you mean LED light clusters like these?

I think he means changing the orange dash bulbs (which I thought were orange leds) to another set like blue leds.
