cruise control

was cruise control on optional extra, or did it come as standard from a certain year on the 1*2's???

It came late on on the 172's - I think from 2003 onwards.
My dads is a 52 reg 172 (nov 2002) and it doesn't have it.

53 plate have it it came in about then from memory but some old cars were kept lying round so whilst later registered don't have it.

ou find that same problem with a few of the things clio, i had the other way round, a 53 Dynamiuqe it had digital dash tep fuel etc whilst most of its age were still on dials if i remember right

My November 2003 172 has it.

On a side note, how hard is it to select 30 mph?

If I'm doing saying 28 and switch it on and press + twice, I'll always get 29 then 31. It's really hard to get 30 unless I hit 30 mph myself ie about 31/32 on the needle then switch it on, I get 30 sometimes then.

is that something to do with renault not wanting to ber responsible if you set at 30 then you get done sppeding, i find it also at 40 60 70?

Its a KMPH based system so its dificult just got to live with it.
