Yeah i like cruise control. Tried the speed limiter and tbh it was dire i was expecting to be able to nail it to say 70 and then for the car to just stop. However i found that it seemed to lower the limiter of the car to a little over 5k iirc
I was hoping to be able to absolutely thrash it upto 70 and just stop...but it was alot more boring than that. Ever since then its never been used lol
I use my cruise all the time! Only use speed limiter occasionaly if im in a 30 zone and really dont wanna risk speedin, the type of zones you caould do 60 in and still feels slow lol!
I use the speed limiter quite a bit, as said - in average speed camera zones, when in areas I don't know where cameras are likely to be lurking and when I've got a police car behind me!
Was introduced to the Clio sport range in 2004. My car is a 53 plate and it has it. Use it quite a lot to be honest, Specially on the motorways or through speed traps...
Wish mine had it too. Bloody love cruise when you're on the M'way with 200 boring miles ahead. Can it be retro fitted with a new steering wheel and stuff? Probably more hassle than it's worth.
Im sure this has been discussed before and I think the outcome was not to bother trying to fit it, if it isnt there already because its more hassle than its worth. If there was an easy way id love it though..
Mines a 53 plate 172FF and it's got cruise control.
I wasn't told it would have it so on pick up day it was a nice surprise.
I rarely use the cruise control, but the speed limiter has been getting some hammer recently as the M1 has got average speed cameras on it between J26 and J27.
Having said that, I like being able to floor it with my thumb.
