cruise control . . . ???

not working. pressing the switches and neither light is coming on the dash and cant set the speed????? can someone give me some ideas of what it might be because i have no idea on these kind of things with cars.

Your brake pedal deactivates cruise when you hit the brakes, the switch that controls that is under the brake somewhere, this is broken (that's what happened to mine)

Firstly check it is best get the car plugged into the computer can be a faulty switch or wiring also.

if its the switch on the brake pedal the rear brakes would come on also or the clutch etc.

sorted now guys. was my mistake

gaz . . . it was in bishopbriggs reno the other day for 4 hours for a complete inspection and was no problems at all. all in my head

yea was a relief. tbh i dont think its been run in properly but ive been driving it they way they should be driven for a couple weeks and it really does feel quicker.
