4th gear on the 197 F1 is crunching, is this a synchro issue?

More than likely, the TL4 gearbox is renowned for it unfortunately.

If you can get the box out and down to me, I can sort it for £300.

It’ll be the synchro that’s knackered and it’s a known issue on the 197/200.
