cup lowering springs

bought some springs for my cup as was fed up with the land rover type ride hight. saw the eibach kit on k tech web site, think it was the sportline kit -35mm so phoned up to order them only to be told that actually only lowers car by 10mm at back at 20mm at front! was advised that they stocked chassis dynamics springs which were not on web site but they had fitted to other 172s and did lower by 35mm, so bought them and had fitted by falkland performance centre in glenrothes, -35mm my a**e!! maybe 10mm at back and 20mm at front. got to admit looks better but not the drop i was hoping for. anybody else had the same experience?

Maybe worth talking to David at K-tec and seeing what he says. K-tec have a lot of fans on here and are normally very helpful.

springs do take some time to "bed in" but normally once they have bedded in and softened up they drop another 5-10mm! the only springs i have seen that drop the 172 a reasonable amount are the Apex srpings

well they have been on for just over a week so ill see if it drops a bit more

Land rover type ride height??? bit extreme. Isnt lowering a cup sacrilage just like changin the wheels? Just my opinion like.

I fitted H&R springs on my clio (not cup) and the drop was immediately noticable and they are only supposed to lower by 30mm but they do say to leave it a few weeks to let them settle
