Cup springs on a Ph1?

Anyone fitted Cup springs to their 172 ph1? Would like to know if it lowered the car at all and if they made it feel better. Pics would be good too :D

Cup springs are firmer and slightly lower, not noticeable though, we're talking mm.

It's either 3 or 5mm I can't remember exactly, it's not 7mm though. Not that you'd notice anyway.

172 springs are the same as far as I know.

I'd get eibach sportlines personally. They're a big improvement over standard. Cup springs will make hardly any noticable difference. Not much lower or stiffer.

The plan was to buy Sportlines but I noticed people selling Cup springs for £20 so thought it might have been worth a punt. I'm changing the rear shocks in the summer so was thinking about fitting springs at the same time.

Think you're right though, if I'm gonna fit springs might aswell do it right and be happy first time!
