Cutting bumper for exhaust space...help!

not sure, when my exhaust was made higher (so it fitted new bumper), my bumper was done as temp job, it was just cut with an airsaw - not a great job, but it did whilst I was waiting for new bumper to go on.

Im guessing a good airsaw job and sanding would be what ya need.. Im sure other people have ideas though!

If you can drill from the inside of the bumper you could use a hole saw (some times called a tank cutter) the are available in all sizes.Although it will give you slightly more than a semi circle as it uses a drill in the center, you could straighten that up though.

i woulda suggested the same as daz

rough shape with an airsaw then fine tune with some sanding
I should work in a bodyshop, me! hehe.

heh, Hes a Genius!

Really though, I didnt cut mine.. just had it sat underneath - the only reason I cut my original was so I could put the new rear bumper straight on! It wouldnt have fitted otherwise!

yeah but i think it will look much better set into the bumper because two 4 inch pipes at either side just danglin will look a bit silly! :(
