CV joint?

Hi, I got my car looked at... the right hand side CV joint was in pieces or something to do with it, grease was all over the wheel.

Anyway the guy who is sorting it for me has found the part but he says there are two versions pin action or pin loaded... How do I find this out?!

I have a 2004 Clio Dynamique 1.4 16v.
