So i am level 35 now i think Phantom Liberty is now an option, but i am still in the early stages of the main story, not giving too much away when i say i have just been scouting out positions with Goro Takemura for the parade mission, i haven't even spoken much with Evelyn Parker, should i just crack on with the main missions for a while before trying Phantom Liberty? i don't want to spoil anything by doing it too early or too late.

I'm at the same position but I left him to go scout the place whilst I fucked around doing other jobs.

I have done all of the Cyber Psychos yet still showing as loads of jobs uncompleted for Regina Jones - not sure if it's because I only kept 4 of them alive)

I've found all but two of the Tarot cards (none are showing on the map so I assume they are story led)

I finished Panam Palmers storyline the other night. Just waiting around for people to call me.

I will buy the add on when I've finished the story.

Up until you reach the point you can go and meet Hanako at Embers (NOCTURNE OP55N1). Once you reach that point, I'd say it's about the perfect time to go to Phantom Liberty.

You'll miss out on optional endings by waiting. If I was to do it all from scratch in 2025 without playing it, I'd have the DLC downloaded, it has story related consequences.

Ah ok. So it adds to the current game as well then? I thought it might have just been more missions to do for new people once the current stuff is done.

At the time of release it was for those that had already completed the game, but as you end up back at the point of no return after completing it, it meant you could do Phantom Liberty. However, if you plan on just doing the one playthrough, get PL downloaded and play it midway through you're playthrough.

I met Songbird last night, first attempt at meeting her ended up being detected as I approached and a massive gun fight which didn't stop for over 10 minutes, enemies just kept spawning.
Chekced online to find it's a glitch so restarted it and entered fine the next time.

I did have the game crash twice last night during Phantom Liberty which I've not had at all so far.

did the mission to rescue the president and get her out of Dog Town- lasted longer than I expected tbh 😂

Finished the Panam missions last night and got my rewards, also finished the last of the Cybepsycho's. starting to use cyberdecks quite a bit more now, with the addition of Tier 5 cyberware which i should have shortly i can pretty much melt groups of enemies now without firing a gun, or hack turrets and let them do my dirty work.

Completed it, mate. Finished off with Johnny keeping my body.

Watched some of the credits at the end and realised that there are likely to be some countries with a smaller population than the number of staff that contributed to this. Crazy.

For me, that ending makes the most sense really and in all fairness, there's no such thing as a "good" ending in Cyberpunk. It isn't what the genre is about, it's all bleak.

Did restart it last night - ffs... :p

Picked a female this time - one with the street scroats background. Purposely going ahead to pick each and every negative/evil answer that I come across. Effectively, she'll be a heartless b**ch.

Also, will try to go down the melee path as I completely ignored that last time.

The cyberware and the quick-hacks are definitely a lot of fun. I tend to use the System Overload one a lot as it's one of the few hacks that are not traceable and is ideal for outlying enemies that are unlikely to be detected whilst lying on the ground. Of course, even when you are detected, just running away a little bit breaks the trace, where you can return and carry on regardless.

Yes i tend to use Contagion as it spreads to nearby enemies, i am just trying to get a couple more points into Tech ability so i can get the edgerunner perk, once i have that i will be able to level up considerably.

I think I messed up my play through of this. I always tend to explore the maps and game quite deeply, as much from a tech/work point of view as well as for gameplay enjoyment. As a result, I ended up doing all the NCPD and gigs before before really making a start on the main story (and PL). I appreciate there were/are more gigs and jobs later that open up, but it meant that I started the main story pretty much kitted out at Tier 5 and above, and approaching max levels. I also played it on normal difficulty and it was a breeze given the levels and kit available. Even so, thoroughly enjoyed it and I am just about to restart from the Firestarter mission of PL to see a different ending. I won't spoil it for those yet to play it, but I've just gone down the So Mi support route, and now I want to try the Reed route. And then I will pick up the main story line again.

The graphics levels are insane and it plays beautifully fully maxed out on the 5090 with path tracing. It also heats my home office quite nicely, too - no need to put the heating on! :ROFLMAO:

I think the overall difficulty of the game is probably one of its biggest criticisms, when you play it on Normal. It does get too easy, too quickly.

That said, it's a brilliant game on so many levels. Nice to see that you've got an appropriate screenshot of Panam also. ❤️

Very true, D - I can probably count on the fingers of one hand (maybe two hands) how many times I have flatlined. That's not a brag, just the reality of it. However, it hasn't tarnished my enjoyment and I'd quite happily go through and play it again - trying a different build, different options, exploring the different endings. I pumped 4-5 hours into supporting Reed in the PL story last night... which takes me nicely on to my next [spam] post. :ROFLMAO:
