d drive? `

Basically my c drive is almost full, Only 30gig left yet i have 200gig available on my d drive

How do i move it all over to that and is it safe to do so?

Have a look on your C drive and see where all your documents are,

most likely your downloads in some sub folder and "my documents"

They will be easy to move, if your downloads are linked to a application, just change it in the settings to the new path i.e D:$location$

It depends on what you move.

You could easily 'Right-click' on 'My Documents' and on the tab that says 'Target', type in 'D:\My Documents' or if you have several accounts on the computer (say, Mum, Dad and Dave) then 'D:\Dave\My Documents'. Click 'Apply' and it'll ask you if you want to move all the files over. Say yes please and it'll do it all for you!

im thinking of moving all my film's/ music over to it, although just deleting s**t i never use i free'd up 30 odd gig
