My Dad collected his new car on Tuesday. Various s**t going on at home means I only had chance to drive it today.... Holy f**k! Pulls like a train! Mental for a diesel.

535d in MSport spec.
Space grey, black leather and optional white stitching.
As standard it comes with pro Navigation, Bluetooth, big hard drive, xenons, electric heated seats, 8 speed auto etc etc.

3.0 twin turbo diesel, 313bhp and something stupid like 440ftlb of torque. Does 45mpg too!

Sadly it's been pissing down since he bought it so only got two pictures from the valet bay at work.

(My staff discount means this is cheaper to lease than a mondeo/insignia etc. Stupid cheap)

Bloody lovely! Now I just need to marry your sister so you can sort me out with an M235i.
She's getting a mini cooper D. With pro nav, leather, centre armrest, nil deposit and £149 a month.

That's crazy cheap for a mini. The only job you've been in a position to get a fancy new car stupid cheap and you can't take advantage due to shitty circumstances.

Is it a 335 that Waitey has? 5 is such an awesome looking car, especially in that colour.

He was originally going to get a 335d X drive, then he wanted a 435i coupe.
But I knew as soon as he sat in a 5 he'd drop the other two. Leagues ahead in terms of cabin quality, which is what my dads all about now.

@gally , I could get a stonking car for me personally, but I don't see the point. My wife does 1 maybe 2 miles a day. It's a massive waste of money. And For me personally, I'm not one to spend money on a car to go to work, where I go to earn money.
I find that retarded tbqfh! Lol

Jesus Christ that's nice. Fair play to your old man!
At £280 a month with nil deposit, it was a no brainer.
It's a £48,000 car so depreciation would be mind blowing if you bought one! Lol.
(We've got 14 plates on the forecourt for under £30k!)

Second hand ones. Under 12 months old and less than 15,000 miles. (Ex fleet cars)
Let's 'assume' we have £5,000 profit across them (we don't) and that means they've more or less dropped 50 percent in 12 months. Madness.

It's mental when you think about it.

I had a good picture/cartoon once of a guy following a ££ note on a fishing hook into a grave. The same idea applies.

It's the reason I don't own a Fiesta ST. It's what i've wanted Ford to build for years, for me to do 3 miles a day back and forth to work in a car costing £200+ per month is borderline insane and at the very least financial madness.

If I was still living at home them no doubt I could easily justify it with some man maths.

If I still drove for fun - Christ I used to think nothing of doing £100 in fuel on a weekend just driving something mental - then I'd have something that I commute in AND have fun in. But I don't. So I won't.

Clio dci 65's are where it's at..,
