Dad's Scenic

When I was at home this weekend I did Dad's Scenic for him :

Washed with Megs Gold Class
Clayed
Washed with Megs Gold Class
Wax with P21s Carnauba Wax

Not bad for a 9 year old car :

Wheel it out into the sun and get some more photos, really show off the gloss

its SORN at the moment, can't take it beyond the drive, its done 28k in 9 years. Didn't do a bad job considering I was out with mates getting drunk until 12:30 and then I got up and worked on dads car at 07:45 through till 12:15 with a vodka hangover.

Nice work, a polish between Clay and Wax is what you need to increase the Gloss.

Did you do scenic by hand or machine?????

My mrs car looks clean but paint feels rough in places??????

Clay removes embedded contaminents on paint that washing alone wont.

That sounds like what i need to do, is it that easy???????

What products do i need, costs???

Where to buy???

Can i still obtain high gloss finish by hand???????????

Easyist option is a Meguiars Quick Clay Kit, about 12 quid from Halfords.

Easy to do, just make sure the paintwork had plenty of lubrication between that and the clay.

Polish well after and how will still get a high gloss even by hand.
