Dampness in car

I own a 1.2 Mk2 2001 Clio. I bought the car recently of someone who had the car sitting for a long time. There is dampness in the car, and a smell of dampness. Any ideas of how to fix this? Any real good interior cleaning products out there :S

A good thorough clean with Autogylm interior shampoo and leave all doors open on a hot day.
