Diffused blue bulbs? explain please!

You can get diffused blue bulbs from rapid electronics. basically means you dont get big blue blobs behind the dials or behind the screen. Word of warning, you need to get the superbright diffused ones because the standard diffused look purple rather than blue!

Blue looks cool, but it seems that everyone has done it. Also too much blue looks over the top. I plan on doing all other little switches blue, but have made clocks white to brake it up a bit. Blue looks spot on against white dials though.

Good eyes you have Dave Yes I wanted the screen blue to break it up, the aircon buttons are white and the screen on that along with the clock is also blue, all done by richy22 in a few hours, top job!!

sarcasm is the lowest form of Witt, but also very funny;-). Nah, I don't get the fasination of the appeal of White dials. I don't get moist thinking about my interior courtesy light or my boot light. Every bulb in the house is White, so sorry but not for me I'm afraid,

Don't suppose you know the size or have a link to the bulbs you used for the c**k / temp display do you mate? Halfords sell them iirc but don't want to take the dash out just to find i've got the wrong ones! Cheers

Why did he have to do that? They are just smds behind the clock, unsolder, resolder job done. White would look out of place on a blue dash. Every light in your house is White, dunno how you get excited about that.

I dont have either of these...

My clocks/dials look amazing \just use the right filters for the clock

sometimes wish i had just left it all! im now buggering about changing bulbs AGAIN cause the ones i ordered before were purple. Annoying! but will be worth it in the end. Will be mint. Also order superbright red bulbs for the fuel gauge and temp gauge. Brighter is better

I converted the standard car radio last night to white LEDs! The only thing is they look a bit too bright. I tried to use a bit of paper to dim them down but the buttons now have a slight yellow tint to them.
