Dash Lights - Anyone changed colours?

Hi

Anyone changed there dash lights (Temp, Radio, Trip etc) leds to anything other than orange? lets see what you've done! :approve:
 
Not looking for how to convert them mate. Just want to see if any of you guys have
 
i have blue but there are still a couple i need to change as the temp and fuel are still orange cos i ran out just need the time to do it got blue in clock display too definately looks better
 
im thinkin of changin the colour off me dash lights but lookin around there are diff type/sizes of smd's so if any1 knows wt size id need id be grateful.

I found the right size, when I get in work tomorrow ill dig up the email I sent to our purchaser with the RS part number on.
 
haha sorry... got caught up learning backflips.. bit late now and going away for weekend.. so might be awhile..

any one know how to get the needles to glow ?
the dont seem to glow so i can just about see them
 
well clock was easy..just got a ph2 clock and changed the bulb (ph3 one has orange filter)
the heater controls was the hard part... i striped off the front (inbeddded orange filter)
spray painted it matt black in using a needle..... inscribed allthe images throught the paint..

when i changed the bulb it was very bright in the centre and you could hardly see the sides.. so i drilled holes in the back and fitted to bulbs in the side instead.. i i might have pics some where.. its a mission to get it out now lol...
lots of work.. but worth it :)
 
do you just pull the center console bits out though? (i.e. clock etc.)

or is it similar to the speedo

the clock just levers out... the heater panel you have to take a few screws out. the previous owner on mine broke alot of the plastic so im missing a few screws.. but its quite difficult to twist and maneuver the dials out

Hi mate, I used these ones from RS components. LB E67C-Q1S2-35

Heres what my rev counter and speedo looked like with them on.

Did the fuel and temp gauge with white LED's but you can't really tell in that pic.

Tomorrow at lunch im gonna be doing my HU, clock, climate and window switchs :cool:
 
Does anybody have Colour Morphing Needles? i have see it on several other models, but not in any clio....
