Dash Resetting?

Every time I start the car and check the dash read outs (MPG, Miles etc), it always goes back to zero? I have had the battery changed but it still does it?

I heard there was a watch type battery that dealt with the memory of the dials but I've yet to confirm this. Please don't go dismantling your car 'til someone confirms either way... Lol!

I have this issue as well but haven't changed my main battery yet!
