dci 100 6 speed conversion

Car  clio dci 100
does anyone know if a megance dci 120 6 speed gearbox fit a clio dci 100 as the 100 already has a megane 5 speed box?

Probably not. The 120 is a diferent engine (1900cc).
The one that *could* fit would be the 1.5dCi 105hp. :)

I'll search some stuff on clioteam and I'll get it back here.

Cheers,
João.

Nope the 120 is different
The 105 6 speed box uses the bigger face k9k engine block so you'd need to swop blocks (ie bottom ends) as well.

cheers chaps, im determined to build a six speed diesel clio one way or the other lol, looks like its gonna have to be a 120 6 speed megane job, anyone know what they put out after chipping?

how much for an engine, box loom etc ?

also are there any good clio or renault magazines?

thanks again

lee

Best ask Matt Black on here or phone him he works for Renault specialist breakers in Accrington and talk to him.
Best idea would be to buy a crashed whole Megan and swop the whole wiring looms etc.

Nope the 105 dci CLio/Modus and the 197 use the new gearbox I forget its code but its a whole new one developed with Renault and Nissan.#
The 105 dci/197 one though has a 240NM max torrque rating on it with a warently.
