dci owners????

Remap definately worth it, anything else depends really on whether you want to or not. Nothing else will make nearly as big an increase.

I have a SS exhaust which imo definately improved economy, though I don't have any hard proof on this as it was simply based on the drive to and from getting it done (although it was tied in with a day out and was a few hundred miles so not just a drive up the road).

Also have a K&N filter, and you can argue that it doesn't do much performance wise, but performance wise I think the standard air box is a bit of a joke... So you may aswell get an induction kit if you want to mess with that. The re-usable factor was on the cards for me, but after you've cleaned an air filter a few times you begin to wish you'd stuck with the paper filters.

They used a different box on the dci80 and dci100 why would they do that on same ph car?

I forget the code for the dCi 100 box, it's on a Laguna too, but all the people that deal with them on here seem to agree it'd be more reliable to use lego parts in a gearbox.

The box in the 80 is the same as in the Renaultsport 1*2's. Which most will still agree is pretty crap, but definately better than the one in the 100.

You'd hav to travel for it but RS Tuning in leeds will sort you nicely. Bear in mind that if u get the 65 or the 80, a simple remap won't get you 125bhp - like in the case of my 100 for example. But if uve got the will then u can upgrade the intercooler to a 100 spec one, altho i beleive the 100 hav uprated variable geo turbo too. Had my dci 100 mapped (they're not actually 100 bhp more like 96-98) but mines doin about 125bhp atm. Interestingly i unplugged the EGR valve harness & its SIGNIFICANTLY more responsive and powerful in all the gears. The turbo comes on with more urgency & even tho self timed runs aren't that accurate last nite on a flat bit of road i timed 0-60 in 7.1 secs, 0-90 in 16 secs & 0-100 in 20.8, each with a great deal of wheel spin thru 1st 2nd and 3rd.

Hope that helps :)

what mpg do you still get? with it mapped to 125bhp

Depends how i drive it tbh :) when i first got it mapped i experimented with different driving styles per tank full & returned 65mpg driving carefully & 52 when thrashing it all the time :)

I can easily keep up with standard 106 gtis while gettin double the fuel return, back of net! ;)

It doens't make the car any more powerful unless you've a Faulty EGR unit.
