Direct diesel injection.
Thats the French for ya!
Its a common rail diesel injection system.
It works by having a common gallery under extreme pressure and the Injectors are opened electronically by a computer, much the same way as a conventional petrol injection system works.
In the Clio range, you can have the 65 BHP or the 80 BHP TDi.
Both give excellent economy. Up to 60+ MPG!!!!!
