Any pointers? Thinking of getting one new as Ive been offered a large discount.

For a brand new one there not much to check out beyond gereral damage etc.

The k9k engine is a good engine so long as you use decient fuel there wont be any known issure realy.
If your looking at a used one check the body just like any Clio chec the oil on the dipstik (it shouldnt burn any). Check there no other noises from the engine and that (when warm) that it does all the way to 5k and idles at ~850.
