De-cat pipe for 1.2 16v

I dont think anyone does! Ive been looking for months now. Best option is to get a custom one made up, but you have to watch as there are issues with the lambda (fuelling) sensors on and after the cat. Basically if you just disconnect the sensors the engine management dash light will go on, and its just guesswork but I think this will be cocking up the fuelling and potentially doing all sorts of damage. To get round this, the sensors can either be replaced with a resistor rated to give the correct signal to fool the ECU into thinking theres a normal amount of fuel present - therefore it wont burn too rich or too lean. But this will lose the advantages of an adaptive ECU so isnt an ideal solution. Or alternatively you could relocate the sensors on your new decat pipe. I know one of the 172 guys who decatted did this and hes had no problems. So if you can find a company with the expertise to do this then youre laughing.

or you could get a decent CAT made up remaining emissions compliant and doing your bit for the planet.

The stock cats probably crap and would more than likely benifit from new inlets and exits.

I take it are cars have two lambda then. 1 before and 1 after the de-cat.

Bugger their goes that idea.
