De-cat????

Im thinking of removing the cat on my 172, i am fully aware with reguards to emmisions and MOT.
Who has done it and what differnce has it made??

y didnt i hink of that. iv already got a magnex cat back system which is LOUD how much louder is the de-cat???

decat's are a good mod for the noise, never really noticed any power increase though...

didnt you?? mine def feels alot more torquey at lower revs than it was before and pulls alot better. the other thing ive noticed is obviously the extra fuel comsumption tho! glad its not an every day car... im also running a full magnex after the decat, its alittle louder but not alot to be honnest.....
