Dealer or enthusiast

i work for a dealer.

enthusiast every time lol

imo cars at dealers are numbers, you sell as much as poss, service as quick as poss, while still being safe, where a genuine enthusiast in theory will look after a vehicle more . imo of course

Im a dealer and i buy all my cars from an enthusiast as they are chesrished vehicles and driven and warmed up properly, warranty and back up from a dealer is a nice peace of mind but for what you are saving buying private the saving will more than cover any repairs you have to stump up for.

think it depends what it is.

run of the mill focus, a dealer, something a bit special.. an enthusiast.

also depends if we are talking about a franchise dealer or a non franchise dealer that deals in more than one car

Depends how well it's been looked after. Would prefer to buy from an enthusiast but if I saw one at a dealers that was mint then I'd still buy it.

depends on price really, nowadays some enthusiasts ask a high premium due to the care they have put into there car, where as you an get decent discounts from dealers so in curtain area's there wont be a huge amount of difference, also i suppose we best take into account the longer ratio's in the later 197 boxes being more favourable to have also

I'm not fussed really, whoever has the car that I want in the best condition I can get. If it's not mint i'll hold out till I find someone selling one which is.

  Cup Packed FF200
whichever is the best car and the right price!:)

It wouldn't bother me either way and I would say to anyone else the same thing.

both have certain pro's and cons, but generally go for the best maintained and mechanically sound car with good history.

Dealer sale you will have come back if you have problems, private is pretty much sold as seen.

Dealers tend to be more expensive becasue of this peace of mind they offer plus they are often in no rush, where as private sales tend to be cheaper because of the opposite of above.

etc etc etc................:) :) :) :)
