Dealer warrenty and mods

I brought my 3 year old 172 back in may, and with it i purchased a 1.5 of warrenty with it. I was just wondering if anyone knew if moddifying the car would viod the warrenty??

was planning on a 182 zorst manifold and sport cat, plus a ported inlet manifold and hi-flow filter... thats about it.

6 months was for free and i got and extra year warrenty for about £200

do only certain mods affect warrenty or..?

If the mod directly leads to an "associated" part failing then they will not honour the warranty.

If you change the exhaust and the passenger door falls off then that's another matter.

They have to prove the mod it to blame to refuse the calim.
